Bristol harbourside...
Alice and Will are such a lovely lovely couple and it was genuinely a really happy morning larking about at the harbourside in Bristol with them and their little boy Fred.
It was showers just before we met, but I’m pleased to say the rain held off and we had some beautiful skies and sunshine. The harbour was an absolutely brilliant location for different colours and textured backdrops and Alice and Will were just great at playing, having a dance and generally giving me the biggest smiles.
Alice & Will styled the shoot absolutely perfectly and I think their blue clothes pop so well against the red metal and wood. I’m always looking for textures when I’m walking around the locations and these guys were just as excited about a cool backdrop. I always offer advice to couples and families about what to wear for the session to really make sure that the focus is on your expressions and ensure that you all look great. I suggested that Alice wear a dress with a bit of movement and swish and my goodness it worked perfectly. Also, check out that gorgeous turquoise on her nails!
Fred was an absolute delight, and when he needed a rest in the pram, it gave me a good opportunity to snap a few of this gorgeous couple on their own.
Genuine candid moments, a swishy dress, bright sunglasses and a super cute little boy… ticks a lot of boxes for me!
