On our daily walks through lockdown, my children and I often marched across this beautiful bridge and I was desperate to use this woodland and the bridge as a spot for some family shots. When Kelly and I discussed locations, this area seemed perfect. I’m always looking for leading lines when I’m taking photographs and this bridge was just perfect to emphasise the bond these two have and really put the focus on them and their love.

I love the way the sun was streaming through the trees and how lush and green the woodlands looked that day. It’s always such a pleasure and privilege to photograph breastfeeding mothers and capture this moment of their journey together. I know that I have so few photographs of just me in the frame with my children and it felt really special to capture these two for this fleeting moment of Alden being so little.
