my last photo shoot in BristoL...

Like lots of parents of small children, lockdown has forced me to really explore the city and find local spaces for a bit of a runaround with my two. This spot is right by Bristol university and was both a wonderful place to go for a run and scoot during lockdown, but also made the most fabulous backdrop for these photographs. I am such a sucker for colour, light and movement and this space allowed for all of those things. It is such a visual feast. I could have spent the entire morning with this gorgeous family. Their two biggest boys were full of beans and really enjoyed exploring, grinning and getting thrown in the air by their dad. How impressive are those throws?! So high!!

The rainbow sculpture is a new permanent sculpture in the Bristol University chemistry courtyard. The installation is called 'palm temple' and you can read more about it here. It is such a beautiful shape and the light is just magic.

I hadn’t really thought about it at the time, but this was my last family shoot in Bristol and so these photographs will always be a really fond memory for me. Here are a small selection of photos from their gallery.
