It’s very possible that a large amount of my photographic style is down to the fact that I always have my camera in my hand when I am running around (*literally*) outside with my own two children. But for that reason, I always use a fast shutter speed! (and wear old jeans that I have been battered with grass stains from kneeling down to get ^the^ shot). Lots of parents always say to me that they are worried that their children will be running around and we won’t get any shots together but I really do enjoy that! I promise that we will get some beautiful group shots of you guys together but there is such beauty in movement and playing that you will always find me snapping away while you are running around.
Nic and Chris and and their beautiful three boys are so so much fun to photograph and this is actually the third time that I got to hang out with him. I am genuinely really proud that her two oldest boys still greet me like an old friend when I see them out and about. There’s no high pressure on shoots with me- just a real opportunity to capture your family as they are at this age.
I know it said a lot but these really are the days aren’t they?! And for that reason, let them run. Me and my fast shutter speed are on it. Honest.
