People often worry about having a photo shoot at their house, but honestly I am really good at finding pockets of light that you hadn’t really thought about and while mum is feeding the baby, I’m a ninja at working with dad or a partner to clear the last few bits and bobs so that you guys have the perfect backdrop for your family photos.
Laura and Nathan have a really gorgeous bedroom and I was so keen to include all of those beautiful plants and details as a backdrop for this shoot.
I often talk this, but If you know you are going to do some photographs in the first few days after you bring the baby home, it really is worth laying out some clothes in advance for all the family members so that it's not another thing to think about. With all bookings, I can talk you through colours and styling tips beforehand to make sure that you feel really prepared.
As always, this shoot was full of smiles and laughter and family connection- photos to look back on with real pride and warmth when you look back on those first few days when your new addition joined your team.
