I had met Rachael and Sekani during lockdown when I took photographs on their doorstep on a beautiful sunny day and I was super excited to get to go into their house to capture a few photographs with their beautiful new baby just days after bringing him home.
Rachael looked like an absolute goddess as soon as she opened the door and I knew that it was going to be a really happy hour snapping away while both Rachael and Sekani made having three small children look very easy! There really is magic in the air in those first few days and weeks when you are just getting to know every little detail of your new baby and I always try to get a bit of that magic on film.
There were very limited prompts needed because my goodness this family just couldn’t stop smiling and was so excited to have their new baby boy home. Avery's big brothers were so proud to hold him and welcome him to their team. Scroll down to see a few from their gallery.
